We grew up in Canberra and became friends through playing Australian Rules Football together. Fossicking began as a wellbeing activity in the creeks of southern New South Wales, but it quickly grew into a passion for fossicking sapphires.

Before long, we found ourselves travelling to the Gemfields in Queensland in search of parti sapphires. It was there that Clear River Gems was born. By teaming up with other miners and exploring new fossicking areas, we began uncovering top-quality sapphires.

We are passionate about creativity and producing the most unique, high-quality sapphires. At Clear River Gems, our number one goal is to create timeless, one-of-a-kind bespoke jewellery.
